Event number 87
22nd February 2020
This week 109 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 50 were first timers and 16 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 16 different clubs took part. We had visitors from across New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Canada, Poland, the UK, Japan, and the USA!
On 7th March we will be having our International Women's Day edition of Queenstown parkrun. We encourage everyone to wear purple and bring all the Women in their lives to join us for parkrun. Jamie Seymour will be Run Directing that day and is looking for an all-woman volunteer crew including pacers for this event. Reach out to us on Facebook or at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in helping out.
Thank you to Queenstown's only store dedicated solely(pun intended) to running, The Frontrunner Queenstown, for being our local sponsor. Be sure to visit the team at Frontrunner on Beach St for all of your running shoe and gear needs and also their new location in Frankton at the Queenstown Central centre near K-Mart.
