This week 108 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 55 were first timers and 16 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 17 different clubs took part. We had visitors from across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, USA, and Denmark!
Visiting parkrunner Niall Stewart was first across the line in a time of 17:00. Niall was followed in by local runner Seamus Costello at 18:57 and Daragh Reynolds at 19:05.
Visiting parkrunner Sarah Lewis was the first female across the line at 20:57. Amanda Harvey came across second female at 22:09 with local runner Wendy Hawkes rounding out the top three at 23:46.
On 7th March we will be having our International Women's Day edition of Queenstown parkrun. We encourage everyone to wear purple and bring all the Women in their lives to join us for parkrun. Jamie Seymour will be Run Directing that day and is looking for an all-woman volunteer crew including pacers for this event. Reach out to us on Facebook or at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in helping out.
