Christmas Day Fun

Kapiti Coast parkrun
Event number 149
25th December 2017

To the tune of Rudolph the red nosed reindeer)

Andy the parkrun leader

Set them off promptly at eight

Up the Waikanae river

Past the broken branch and gate

Then one sunny Christmas eve

Santa came to say
"Everyone runs so fast alright
Won't you pull my sleigh tonight"
First male home was Michael Wray

With Kent Stead second you see

Hannah the first lady

You'll go down in history

(to the tune of jingle bells)
Dashing up the path
People starting their day
Doing Kapiti parkrun
Laughing all the way
14 personal bests
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to run and sing
We'll all sleep well tonight
Jingle bells, Andy smells
The runners ran away
O what fun it is to do
Parkrun on Christmas day
Hope everyone had fun!
Dan (with a little bit of help from Isaac)
