Kapiti Coast parkrun
Event number 147
16th December 2017

A string of glorious weather on the Kapiti Coast led to another cracking Saturday morning for Park Run at Otaihanga Domain. A good crowd gathered to hear the briefing from Andy then without much fanfare we were set off on our trot.

The sun was in my eyes as I wound my way up the Waikanae River track. There were plenty of families, dogs barking up a storm and other enthusiastic runners on the track.

I had convinced a small crowd of work colleagues to come along this week and this must have spurred me along as I managed my fasted time of the summer so far.

After the run, I lay about on the grass and cheered on the remaining runners. Then it was time for a swim at the beach, fabulous start to the weekend on the Kapiti Coast!
Cheers,
Jo
