Spooky Special

Kapiti Coast parkrun
Event number 140
28th October 2017

74 ghastly ghouls joined us for the Kapiti park run number 140. Beautiful conditions, with light winds, a pleasant temperature and a track that has now fully dried out.

First male home in a spookily fast time of 19:07 was Sean Eaton and the first female home was Kate Jenkins, ghosting through in a time of 22:23.

Congratulations to Dave Thorburn, Mckaela Woodward, Ross Wells, Sharon Hurman, Sarah Rickard, Angie Busing and Chloe Courtnage who all achieved personal bests. I also smashed my stroller PB. We really need an extra column in the results table for that!

A big hello to Andrew Marlow, Donal Cotter, Hannah Langley, Rebecca Love and Amy Fleetwood, who were running their first Kapiti parkrun. We hope to see you back again.

Thanks to the organisers for the halloween themed treats. Your contribution supporting parkrun each week doesn't go unnoticed.

Hope to see you all next week.

Dan

PS - Don't forget to volunteer. I run out of jokes for the run report!
