Event number 335
8th December 2018
This week 290 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 28 were first timers and 43 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 17 different clubs took part. Thanks to all who came along and lovely to welcome all our overseas visitors and local ones plus of course the first time parkrunners!
Quote of the day was made by our dear Ray Turner VM80-84 who has now completed 90 parkruns, "I only run in the sun", to which Sue Bielby replied that he must be running just on solar power now! Keep it up Ray, you're a legend either way - walking in the shade or running in the sun!
Remember the Christmas Day 9.00am start - we'd love to celebrate with you! Bring along your Christmas Hats, Christmas Cheer and any other family members!
The event was made possible by 14 volunteers: Many thanks to all!
And remember we will need some volunteers for Christmas Day too please. Simply write to firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know if you can.
